    Animals:Animals were Shetland ponies and Icelandic horses.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using the Illumina equine HD chip and analyzed for insect bite hypersensitivity. Following quality control, 46888 and 51453 SNPs were used for analysis in Shetland ponies and Icelandic horses, respectively.
