  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Chickens were from either a back-cross population or an advanced intercross line population from crosses of two inbred White Leghorn lines.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Birds were genotyped for 1212 SNPs (back-cross) or 286,432 SNPs (advanced intercross) and analyzed for susceptibility to Campylobacter jejuni intestinal colonization.
Analysis:For the back-cross population, QTL mapping was first performed using regression interval mapping. In both populations, GWAS was performed using a univariate linear mixed model.
Software:QTL Express, GEMMA, ASReml, PLINK, Haploview, GenABEL
