Call for 2 travel bursaries to attend the 2018 PAG Conference

The COST Action CA15112- Functional Annotation of Animal Genomes - European 
network (FAANG-Europe) is launching a call for two travel bursaries to support 
the attendance to the next Plant and Animal Genome Conference (PAG XXVI) in 
San Diego (CA) USA, January 2018.

Eligibility: The call is open to
- PhD students and Early Career Investigators (ECI) with affiliation in a
  Participating Inclusiveness Target Country** (ITC)

- The successful applicant must:
  o Attend the XXVI PAG conference
  o Present an oral/poster presentation on a FAANG-related topic
  o Be listed in the official programme of the conference

**COST 15112-participating Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) include: 
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Malta, Poland, 
Portugal, Slovenia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Serbia.

Financial support fixed contribution: Successful applicants can apply to:
- An allowance of up to EUR 160/day, with a max of EUR 2500
- A contribution of max EUR 500 for conference fees

Call deadline: 27th October 2017

- A recommendation letter from a direct supervisor
- A tentative budget
- Intended Abstract for the XXVI PAG Conference
