What's new on the NAGRP animal genome web site (#2, 2006):

o The Cattle genome information web site is re-designed and updated

o A set of a few new tools are made public for free use:
   - Sequence alignment drawing tool

   - Reverse compliment sequences converter
   http://www.animalgenome.org/cgi-bin/util/revc
   - Prim2 - design primers on the consensus of 2 similar sequences

o A GO terms classification counter tool has its beta release to public
   (A new "Questions and Answers" section are added as a user guide)

   You can also find it through the Gene Ontology "GO Tools" list from

o New features are added to report swine genome sequencing progress.

o An Animal Trait Ontology (ATO) Editor by Jie Bao et al. is
   released for free download:

o The NAGRP Bioinformatics coordination web site has an extensive update
   (many pages were updated over the past a few months):

o The aquagenomics community directory is modified to allow members
   to upload the PDF files and keep a list of their publications:
