Dear all

The 9th International Greenhouse Gas and Animal Agriculture Conference will
be held on October 5th – 9th 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya. The conference is hosted
by the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and the Norwegian
Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO).

Abstract submission will open soon!

Conference themes include:

- Circular Economy (Farm to regional scale integration incl. landscape
  management; modelling)
- Animal health and GHG emissions
- Animal selection genetics and genomics
- Feed and nutrition
- Manure management
- Rumen microbial genomics
- Grazing incl. agroforestry and peatland
- National GHG inventories and agricultural NDCs
- Scaling of mitigation strategies (scaling options; farmers)
- Measurement techniques
